(...and you all wondered if it would come back...)After many, many late nights of effort by quite a few people, The Unofficial 2002 Page returns with a new life, a permanent home (and domain) and under a new auspice. For those that wrote to me in the past two months with everything from questions to badgering ("where's the page?!"), thank you for the motivation! Where's the 2002 Page?!The The Unofficial 2002 Page, venerably started and brought to some fame by Erik Frank and Ben Thongsai, is turning a new leaf. I was asked to take over the page, principally due to the fact that it's current location was going to no longer exist. This does not mean that Erik is no longer involved (heck, he's writing articles on rear disk brake conversions and EFI even as you read this), and Ben Thongsai continues a integral involvement with the page. But What's Goin' on Here?!Quite simple. The BMW '02 Page is now part of www.bimmers.com, whose mission is to provide an information site where enthusiasts can meet, do research, write and share articles and information, and have it all supported by BMW vendors. |
As you come to find The BMW '02 Page useful, please support the vendors make this site possible. Is There Anything New Here?Ooooh ya. Didn't I tell you we've been working late? The new page is now for all '02's, covering more than just 2002's. The new format is intended to increase the information content and simplify navigation. Within, you will find links to clubs and all the BMW official sites, a For Sale page just for '02 related items, new articles on performance upgrades, pictures, links to other '02 pages and much much more... So enjoy and send feedback! This site is for all of us. If you have comments, send them. If you have an interesting '02, let me know and we'll try to put a picture on the title banner. Have you done a cool modification? Let us know so we can add it to the site. - Filippo Morelli |
