Hoax or not? Troubleshooting



Parts used in the E30 M3 application (you may feel the need to substitute, please feel free):

  • Sears Leaf Blower (Toro is cool, but really any will do)
  • 6 Feet coiled Dryer hose (I used white but you may prefer the trick chrome look)
  • 4 hose clamps
  • Duct Tape (Lots)
  • 2 Screw eyes
  • 2 Bungee cords
  • Power drill
  • Jig saw with metal and wood blades
  • 6 foot extension cord

  • Piece of Plywood (You can mount the blower directly on the hood but I went for the trophy look of mounting it on a piece of 3/8" plywood. I felt it kind of set the blower off in a more showy manner and highlighted the performance potential of my system.)
  • 4 Self tapping sheet metal screws
  • Radio Shack 12vdc 120vac power converter (The cheaper the better, I say)
  • Complete and utter disregard for either what anyone says or for the engineering of your fine German automobile.
